
The North Atlanta boys soccer team is undefeated (5-0) in region competition and 8-1-1 overall. The girls team is undefeated (5-0) in region play as well, and 9-3-1 overall.

The soccer teams at North Atlanta are on fire!
The boys team, which did not advance to the Georgia High Schools Association (GHSA) state playoffs last season, is 8-1-1 overall and 5-0 in region competition (Class AAAAA, Region 7). The Warriors, winners of eight consecutive games are tied with powerhouse Dalton High School for first place in the region.
The Lady Warriors, who advanced to the state semi-finals last year, are 9-3-1 overall and 5-0 in region play. North Atlanta has won eight of its last nine games.
Both teams will be back in action on Wednesday at Cambridge High School in Alpharetta. The Lady Warriors will play at 5:30 p.m., followed by the boys at 7:30 p.m.

— The Benjamin E. Mays baseball team is continuing its torrid season. The Raiders, coached by Reginald Austin, have won 11 consecutive games and have an overall record of 13-1. They are undefeated (9-0) in Class AAAAA, Region 6. Mays will take on Southwest DeKalb on Wednesday at 5 p.m., in a battle for first place in the region. The Panthers are 13-2-1 overall, 8-0-1 in region competition.
— Both soccer teams at Henry W. Grady are off to terrific starts, and have big games coming up on Thursday. The Lady Gray Knights are 9-4-1 overall, and are in second place in Class AAAA, Region 6 with a record of 4-1. They will host St. Pius, which is third in the region, Thursday at 5:30 p.m. The boys are 7-3-1 overall and tied for second in the region as well with a record of 5-1. They will host third-place St. Pius on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
— Maynard H. Jackson’s girls soccer team is 9-2-0, 7-0 and in first place in Class AAA, Region 4, while the boys team is 7-3-1 overall and in second place in the region with a record of 5-1-1.
