Open House Welcomed Families Across Atlanta Public Schools

Ahead of the start of the 2026–2027 school year, Atlanta Public Schools students and families visited campuses across the district for Open House on July 31, meeting teachers, touring classrooms, and reconnecting with their school communities.

The annual event welcomed new and returning families at the district’s 87 learning sites as they prepared for the first day of school. Students also received school supply kits made possible through the generous support of Amazon and The Empty Stocking Fund, helping ensure they began the school year ready to learn.
