The Scholastic Book Fair is coming to Atlanta Public Schools with a new immersive format that will bring the magic of the book fair through a virtual shopping experience. You’ll feel like you’re at the Scholastic Book Fair—without the lines! From Feb. 22 to March 7, the fair will connect students to notable books and inspiring characters, helping them become lifelong readers. “We’re thrilled that the Scholastic Book Fair is returning to Atlanta Public Schools,” said Patrice Laird Walker, APS Media Services coordinator. “Last year, we put 642 books in the hands of our students. Though the fair will be exclusively held online this year, we plan to increase our goal by 10 percent while ensuring the fair remains a fun and joyous experience for our students, staff and community.” Special virtual shopping features include: Access to over 6,000 productsAll orders ship direct to homeeWallet so friends and family can contributeFREE shipping on book-only orders over $25 All book fair purchases support APS students and families as they build their home libraries. APS staff members can also have books delivered to their work site and put it in inter-office mail to a specific school, classroom, or student.
