Members of the Maynard Holbrook Jackson High School’s Academic Decathalon Team won several medals during the Professional Association of Georgia Educators (PAGE) Georgia Academic Decathlon State Competition held Feb. 27-28 at Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County. Fenn Conner won a gold medal in English/Language Arts and Telia Garner won a bronze medal for her speech. Jackson High School’s team formed and competed for the first time during the 2014-15 school year, winning the district title. Team members Telia Garner, Delfina Booth, Fenn Conner, Maya Webster and Solomon Martin won medals in various academic areas on the district level.
