What roles are males playing in the development of students? How are employees making a difference in students’ lives … with coats? What’s a Master Teacher? Who’s on the other end of the Homework Hotline?
These and many other questions are answered in the latest edition of The Atlanta Educator, a quarterly print newsmagazine published by Atlanta Public Schools’ communications department.
“We believe that while we have enjoyed great success utilizing such innovative communications tools as online media, our community still wants to read about APS’ journey to excellence in a print publication they can carry with them, read at their leisure, and share with the rest of our community,” said APS Chief Communications Officer Su Yeager. “We’re incredibly excited about the popularity The Atlanta Educator received last year, and look forward to telling more great stories from around our district with informative features highlighted by compelling graphics and design. And we hope our readers will not only share these stories with others, but feel inspired to share with us their own stories for future Atlanta Educator issues.”
