Jackson students had a great time learning about fitness and health during the schoolās annual Wellness Week, held February 23-27, 2015. This initiative encourages students to make healthy choices and become physically active by introducing them to different ways to stay fit, eat healthy foods and practice healthy living. The week began with a fun kick-off for the students. There was a pep rally where students enjoyed the Jackson Spirit Teamās performance of some of their best cheers, a skit from the Jackson Student Wellness Ambassadors on healthy eating choices, and a motivational speech from the schoolās personal trainer.Ā

. The students were able to analyze how visual and multimedia elements contribute to the meaning, tone, or beauty of the text by listening to the audiobook as they followed along with the story.
