HEALTH ALERT: 2015 Measles Cases and Outbreaks
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director has warned that the U.S. could see a “large outbreak” of measles cases. Statistics show that there are at least 102 reported cases across 14 states, however there are no cases reported in Georgia.
The best way to prevent Measles is for all children to be fully vaccinated on time. Although there are no cases reported in Georgia to date, Atlanta Public Schools encourages our students, families, and staff to know the facts about Measles and how we can prevent the spread among our kids. Remember…….prevention is the best practice!
