Eleven Atlanta Public Schools Employees Recognized for Decades of Dedication

by Allison M. Slocum

Eleven dedicated Atlanta Public Schools (APS) staff members were honored at the August 11 Atlanta Board of Education meeting for their extraordinary longevity and unwavering commitment to the district.

Each employee was called by name and given a special certificate for serving over 35 years with APS. Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson and the Atlanta Board of Education members personally congratulated them for their decades of dedication, consistency, and impactful contributions, which played a vital role in shaping the success of countless APS students and schools.

Please join us in celebrating this milestone achievement with these dedicated servants!
