Congratulations to the Grady High School Knights, led by Coach Rives on winning the combined (boys and girls) Atlanta Public Schools City Swimming Championship last Tuesday, January 27,2015.
North Atlanta High School took second place while Benjamin E. Mays High School placed third.
In the girls division, the Grady Knights again took home the first place trophy, followed by the North Atlanta Warriors and Benjamin E. Mays Raiders.
In the boys division, the North Atlanta Warriors placed first, beating the second place Grady Knights by just nine points, while the Benjamin E. Mays Raiders placed third.
Six Grady relay teams and four Grady swimmers made state qualifying times and will compete at the Georgia High School Association Swimming & Diving Championships held at Georgia Tech this week, February 5-7, 2015.
