Atlanta Public Schools’ Benjamin E. Mays High School football team had a 30-15 dominant performance over the Stockbridge High Tigers last Friday! With this win, Mays advances to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class AAAAA state championship game for the first time in the school’s history!
The Raiders will take on the Northside Eagles from Warner Robbins, Ga. at 8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 12 at the Georgia Dome. Tickets are $18 in advance at Mays H.S. this week and $20 game day at the Georgia Dome ticket office. Only GHSA passes will be accepted at the game. APS congratulates Associate Superintendent of High Schools Dr. Timothy Gadson; APS Director of Athletics Jasper Jewell; Mays High School Principal Rick Fowler; Mays High School Athletic Director Natasha D. Harrigan; Mays High School Head Coach Corey Jarvis, his coaching staff and the Mays Raider Football team.
