Future Journalist Devion Lewis is Frederick Douglass High School’s Class of 2014 Salutatorian

 

Devion Lewis is honored to be named salutatorian of Frederick Douglass High School.

In addition to being the editor-in-chief of the school’s newspaper and a member of the yearbook staff, Devion is an active member of Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). Within the DECA program, he holds  the position of Vice President and Pr Manager.

After graduation, Devion plans to attend the University of Georgia to earn a degree in journalism to prepare for his career as a news station field reporter.

Douglass High School’s graduation ceremony is Friday, May 23 at 8 p.m at the Atlanta Civic Center.
