Aplus2014-080The Atlanta Partners for Education (APFE) annually recognizes those heroes who exemplify outstanding business-public education partnerships. The program is sponsored by the Atlanta Partners for Education, a longstanding partnership between the Metro Atlanta Chamber and Atlanta Public Schools.

The APFE A+ Awards luncheon was held April 1, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel.  Hosted by television news personality Jovita Moore, APFE honored school and business collaborations that provided successful academic learning experiences for APS students during the 2013-2014 school year.

With a colorful Dr. Seuss theme serving as a backdrop, First Lady Sandra Deal, Ann W. Cramer, APFE Chair, APS Superintendent Erroll Davis, Board of Education Chair Courtney D. English, Metro Atlanta Chamber Education Committee Chair David Scheible and Metro Atlanta Chamber President Hala Moddelmog all took the stage to celebrate the winners of this prestigious award. Aplus2014-059

Currently more than 400 partners participate in more than 450 partnerships with Atlanta Public Schools.
