by talkupaps

c1Kindergarten students at Cascade Elementary  recently visited the Yule Forest Hwy 155 in Stockbridge, Ga. Yule Forest is an outdoor classroom that teaches children about farm life while enjoying all the activities provided on the farm. The children experienced agriculture through climate, crops, soil and animals. They also picked pumpkins, visited the reptile house and rode on a hayride.c2

Fourth grade students at Cascade participated in the Ride with Respect Program developed by MARTA Transit Services. This on campus field experience c3allowed students to learn how to use the transit safely, using the proper code of conduct.    Mrs. Toni Thornton-Sanford, Community Outreach Planner for MARTA, facilitated the field trip.
