Humphries Elementary’s Tea Party with special guest Judge Glenda Hatchett

Humphries Elementary School’s Girl Scouts hosted a tea party event with a special guest, Judge Glenda Hatchett. The Girl Scouts members, their mothers and grandmothers gathered to celebrate their Girl Scouts and mentors.

During Judge Hatchett’s inspirational speech, she encouraged the mothers to support their daughters with positive reinforcement. She stressed to every student that they are special, and never to let anybody get in between them and their dreams.

“There’s only one of you in all the people in the world, so you are unique,” Hatchett said.
