Bethune Students Receive a Special Surprise

Students at Bethune Elementary School received a special back-to-school treat. The Virtue Foundation and TANA and TAMA organizations recently distributed 500 backpacks to the students at Bethune.

TANA is an organization that has served the Indian community in the Metro Atlanta area for the last 38 years.  Each year the organization distributes backpacks to kids in the local community on the Indian Independence Day.

The Indian Consulate General and several representatives from the TANA and TAMA organizations attended the distribution event.

The students at Bethune were excited to receive new backpacks at the start of the school year!
