Back to School Summer Jamboree

The APS Early Learning Department partnered with The Hosea Feed the Hungry Foundation for their annual “Back to School Summer Jamboree.”  The day was filled with excitement and anticipation for August 7th, the first day of school for APS traditional schools. The Hosea Feed the Hungry Foundation distributed backpacks filled with school supplies to hundreds of students across the metro Atlanta area. The Early Learning Department distributed books and literacy resources to students and parents to emphasize the importance of reading. Students had a great day filled with music, food and other giveaways as they prepare for the 2013-2014 school year.
