by Office of High Schools To support ongoing efforts to improve the academic achievement of students, the Georgia Department of Education hosts an annual Advanced Placement Teacher Training Grant opportunity for Georgia high schools. This grant is to assist in training teachers at AP Summer Institutes. At the February 16, 2012 meeting of the Georgia State Board of Education, awards were made to 207 Georgia high schools for the training of AP teachers at the 2012 AP Summer Institutes. We are pleased to announce that the six Atlanta Public Schools listed below are included in the awards list B.E.S.T. Academy High School Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy Henry W. Grady High School Maynard H.
