February 2010 Dear Web Visitors, We’ve developed this site to keep you informed about our schools’ 2009 CRCT performance in the wake of the Governor’s Office of Student Achievement report. We want to be transparent and attentive to addressing your concerns and communicating the progress of pending investigations. Please take a moment to peruse our CRCT site, as it includes report findings, news releases and more. At this time, we’ve called for a thorough, immediate and independent review of the state’s analysis to examine individual schools, classrooms and teachers. Guiding our efforts is a single premise: We have nothing to hide. We will post the results and any new information as soon as they become available, so please check back on a regular basis. Additionally, feel free to send us your feedback – whether it’s more information you’d like to see posted here or examples of the practices you’ve undertaken in your classroom or at home to help raise achievement among your students and children. Sincerely, Beverly L. Hall, Ed.D.
