Do you have any idea how amazing and enriching the Atlanta Education Fund‘s Atlanta Fund for Teachers‘ fellowships are? Then maybe you were elsewhere while we ran this past falls “What I Did This Summer” series that allowed the APS grant recipients to tell in their own words what they out of the experience. Everyone was able to take an amazing trip and brought back their experience to their classrooms. To get an idea, just plug in the words “what i did this summer” into the Talk Up APS search engine in the upper right-hand corner of the homepage and you should get lots of examples. (For one example, check out Dobbs Elementary teacher Xylecia Taylor‘s experience here.) Now it’s your turn, APS teacher, to apply. The deadline for the grant, which is as much as $10,000, is 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29. APS K-12 teachers with three (3) or more years experience in the classroom are eligible to apply. Past applicants are eligible to reapply. Applications are available at www.fundforteachers.org.
