Nine Atlanta schools will display student-produced artwork advocating diversity along with professional artwork at the “Students Draw the Line Against Prejudice” exhibit starting Jan. 17 at the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art. The exhibit, sponsored by Embracing Differences, will feature 27 works of art from elementary, middle and high school students at both public and private schools.
The artwork will illustrate the evils of prejudice and promote tolerance and acceptance in schools and society. Student art will be judged by Catherine Fox (visual arts critic for ArtsCriticATL.com, Lloyd Nick (director of the Oglethorpe University Museum of Art) and Anne Lambert Tracht (Consult Art, Inc.).
