Parents of eighth-graders encouraged to attend today’s High Schools Showcase

APS offers its annual High Schools Showcase today (Thursday) and Friday at Atlanta Metropolitan College. (Directions here.) The showcase offers tips for incoming freshmen, such as setting goals, understanding graduation requirements, developing study habits; extra-curricular options and volunteer requirements that will bolster their high school transcripts for prospective colleges; and financial-aid opportunities like the HOPE scholarship.
