Congratulations to Midtown High School’s Cameron Collier for being selected as the 2026 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year for Cross Country.

Cameron Collier named 2026 Georgia Gatorade Player of the Year for Boys Cross Country

The Gatorade Player of the Year award is the top honor in high school sports, celebrating the nation’s best high school athletes for their excellence in sport, academics and community. This award recognizes Collier as Georgia’s best high school boys cross country athlete.

Cameron won the GHSA 4A state championship in his senior season with a time of 16:07.8. He also took first place in the Wingfoot Classic and at the AT&T Starr’s Mill meet. He has maintained an A average in the classroom and signed a written letter of athletic aid to run at Villanova University in the fall.
