Atlanta Public Schools Students Join Statewide Elementary Honor Chorus

The Atlanta Public Schools (APS) Fine & Performing Arts department was proud to have 35 students from seven APS schools join The Georgia Music Association’s 2026 Statewide Elementary Honor Chorus for an incredible, collaborative performance at the Classic Center in Athens, on January 9-10.

In the months leading up to the event, each school’s chorus director worked diligently with students to prepare the required repertoire.

  • Hope-Hill Elementary School – Colleen Kingston, Director

  • Springdale Park Elementary School – Brianne Turgeon, Director
  • Warren T. Jackson Elementary School – Zachary White, Director
