Atlanta Board of Education Chair Erika Mitchell spoke to the graduates, imparting encouragement and advice for the future.

“Show up. On purpose and with purpose,” Mitchell said. “As you move forward into whatever comes next: college, a career, service, creativity, or exploration, remember to show up on purpose and with purpose.”

The class of 2025 joins a rich legacy of Atlanta Public Schools graduates who have gone on to pursue higher education, launch careers, serve their communities, and make meaningful contributions worldwide.
