State of the District 2025: Building a Stronger Community for Every Child

Atlanta Public Schools (APS) is going ‘Back to the Basics’ and delivering the 2025 State of the District with a different approach.

APS students, families, partners, and stakeholders will have access to the 2025 State of the District video series featuring various departments detailing key strategic efforts to bring excellence everywhere in APS.

Former Superintendent, Dr. Alonzo Crim, coined the phrase, “Community of Believers.” Being a community of believers meant that civic, philanthropic, and educational leaders, parents, and all Atlantans must be engaged in preparing our children for success. Today, we want to continue to build our community of believers by engaging with our families, our community, our employees, and our students.

Follow the 2025 State of the District video series to learn more about APS’ vision and strategy to make our school district the best urban school district in America. APS stakeholders can read a recap of Superintendent Dr. Bryan Johnson’s first 100 Days and receive additional updates at atlantapublicschools.us/everychild.

Subscribe to APS Today and stay tuned for the upcoming 2025 State of the District videos.
