The Department of Instructional Technology is thrilled to recognize the annual District Technology & Innovation Competition winners. Almost 300 students presented over 200 projects on Saturday, Feb. 1, at King Middle School. The students’ projects from grades 3-12 were judged on originality, clarity, documentation, and design.

The first, second, and third-place grade-band winners were announced on Friday, Feb. 8, via the Instructional Technology Department’s social media account on X (formerly Twitter) @apsinstructtech. Winners are also posted to the event site https://apstic.weebly.com

We are thrilled to have 74 Atlanta Public School (APS) students eligible to advance and compete in the annual GaSTC state competition hosted by the Georgia Educational Technology Consortium, Inc. in March of 2025. The 57 first-place projects, created by solo students and two-member teams, will be presented in one of 14 categories.

Thank you to all of the APS students, staff, administrators, teachers, families, volunteers, and judges who helped to ensure another successful district competition. Congratulations to all of our student innovators on their hard work! Atlanta Public Schools is proud of you!
