Back-to-School Bash Social Media Contest Winner: Kennedi Mills

As the first day of the 2023-2024 school year gets closer, Atlanta Public Schools is excited to continue its commitment to placing our scholars at the center of our educational journey.

Leading up to the 9th annual Back-to-School Bash, APS students shared their excitement for the new school year in the district’s first Back-to-School Bash social media contest.

While at the Back-to-School Bash, Kennedi enjoyed painting and learning about technology. As one of the contest winners, Kennedi will get to host a social media takeover during the first month of school.

When you’re not in school what do you like to do for fun?

I like to watch different videos of majorette dances and cheer dances and I like to dance.

What are you looking forward to this school year?

I’m looking forward to making better grades than last year, have fun and learn new stuff.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a nail tech and a hair designer. The people who do my hair inspire me a lot.
