APS Week in Review: June 12-17

Click through the slideshow for a few APS highlights from this past week:

The week began with the invigorating 2023 APS Leadership Retreat. District leaders and school administrators worked together over a three day conference to share wisdom, achievements and think of new ways to improve the APS experience.

APS Superintendent Dr. Lisa Herring met with representatives from Georgia Power and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 84 (IBEW 84) who came together to donate more than 150 Automated External Defribulators (AEDs) to APS.

And over the weekend, volunteers from Delta, Trust for Public Land, City of Atlanta and the community came together to build a playground and garden that will enhance the outdoor-space at W.J. Scott Elementary School.
