Atlanta Public Schools very own, Taquanna Stubbs of Atlanta Virtual Academy, has been awarded the 2022 Professional Association of Georgia Educators Educator Grant. Stubbs will be using this grant to further serve the community and her students by applying the funds towards her Education Leadership certification. “Education is my passion and I am invested in perfecting my craft. As a recipient of the PAGE grant, I will be capable of building capacity school-wide while supporting my own learning, in addition to providing resources to effectively impact student learning with fidelity and equality for all,” says Stubbs. The Professional Association of Georgia Educators Educator Grant program has awarded funds for educators throughout Georgia that are applied to a wide array of benefits from professional development for the advancement of our educators to supplies and materials for classrooms. Now in its third year, the Professional Association of Georgia Educators Educator Grant program has provided more than $275,000 to hundreds of educators throughout Georgia. “PAGE is honored to support instruction and learning in Georgia’s schools through the educator grants to our members across the state,” said Executive Director Craig Harper. “These additional resources contribute to all areas of student needs, from academics to the arts to health and well-being. The grant applications, more than 1,150 this year alone, demonstrate the deep commitment Georgia educators have to enhancing school and classroom experiences for their students.” To learn more about Professional Association of Georgia Educators visit http://www.pageinc.org/.
