Deborah Fataki was born to two immigrants from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Her father was a French teacher with Atlanta Public Schools and her mother owns a hair salon. Deborah’s love for education comes from her parent’s commitment to acquire knowledge. She is currently dually enrolled at Georgia State University where she studies Sociology and Anthropology. She enjoys learning about history because she believes that understanding the past will help avoid future mistakes. Deborah has traveled to Beijing, China and plans to go to Paris, London, and Italy this spring. Her favorite quote comes from Ray Bradbury, “You’ve got to jump off the cliff all the time and build your wings on the way down.” Plans to Attend: Brandeis University Major: International Relations Career Goal: Immigration Attorney Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Email a link to a friend (Opens in new window) Email Print (Opens in new window) Print More Share on X (Opens in new window) X Like this:Like Loading… Discover more from APS Today Subscribe to get the latest posts sent to your email.
