Angelo Matos is the son of Noquel Matos and Angela Moris de Matos. His parents immigrated to the United States with dreams of their children receiving an American Education. Angelo moved to the United States at the age of eight and faced the challenge of learning a new language. He has excelled in his academic endeavors while participating in football (captain), baseball (captain), robotics (Captain), basketball, student government, track and field, National Spanish Honor Society, Atlanta Young Writer’s Institute, and his school newspaper. He readily volunteers to tutor his classmates and acts as a student researcher at The Georgia Institute of Technology for 15 hours a week. Angelo is motivated in all his pursuits and never settles for anything less than excellence.
