Jahre Aquart is a firm believer in the saying, “Out of adversity comes opportunity.” Having previously been homeschooled, Jahre enrolled in BEST Academy as a sophomore and quickly rose in the ranks while adjusting to public school. Though the transition was not always easy, Jahre attributes his success to learning from past failures while being open to new challenges. He is grateful for the various mentors he acquired during his tenure at BEST, as well as, the support he receives from his dedicated parents. Currently, Jahre serves as senior class vice president and participates in several extra-curricular activities that include: National Honor Society, National Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, and other school organizations. In addition, he plays Varsity Soccer and conducts biology research at Georgia Institute of Technology through the Project ENGAGE internship. His career goal is to become an orthodontist and hopes to study molecular biology at Harvard.
