Amadou Bah is B.E.S.T. Academy’s Class of 2015 Valedictorian

Amadou Bah is one of the most promising students at B.E.S.T. Academy High School. He is highly regarded, respected and loved among his peers for his humility and humor. This character trait makes him more than everybody’s friend—he’s their brother. Not only is he the son of immigrants from Guinea, but he has experienced the deaths of his two elder brothers. Yet Amadou models the value of kinship-especially brotherhood for his peers in a single-gender, poverty-stricken environment. As the second of five children, Amadou hopes to model excellent leadership and scholarship for his younger siblings that will translate into generations of innovation, creativity, and leadership. He currently serves as Varsity Soccer Team Captain, Future Business Leaders of America President, and Senior Class President.
