The Georgia High School Association State Playoffs begin Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. Atlanta Public Schools has seven teams that have the opportunity to make a run for the state championship. Here are the teams:
Girls
- Douglass Lady Astros/Head Coach- Alana Allen
- Mays Lady Raiders/Head Coach- Chantay Frost
- South Atlanta Lady Hornets-/ Head Coach- Akisha Graham
Boys
- Grady Grey Knights/Head Coach- Brian Weeden
- Mays Raiders/Head Coach- William Faulkner
- North Atlanta Warriors/Head Coach- Albert Thomas
- South Atlanta Hornets/Head Coach- Michael Reddick
