North Atlanta High School recognized four graduates with awards for community service, leadership, and athletic and academic achievement during morning commencement exercises Sunday, May 25, 2014. John Rudd received the Warrior Scholar Award. This award is to recognize the student-athlete who illustrates uttermost promise both academically and athletically. John’s name will be added to a plaque that is located in the North Atlanta gym. Emma Pettersen was recognized with the Journal Cup Award presented by the Atlanta Journal Constitution for excelling in academics, community activities and leadership. Emma was chosen for this award by North Atlanta faculty and staff. The Principal’s Cup, chosen by Principal Dr. Howard Taylor, was awarded to William Johnson. This award is to recognize the student who best exemplifies the true meaning of North Atlanta High School. Chosen by the 12th Grade Academy teachers, Jaiah Rodgers was recognized with the 12th Grade Academy Model Student Award.
