Therrell High School of Technology, Engineering, Math and Science’s Class of 2014 Salutatorian Ya Daba Njie Plans to Join Peace Corps

Throughout high school, Ya Daba has reached for the stars, and in order to meet her academic goals, she has taken advantage of every educational opportunity provided.

After graduating from high school, Ya Daba plans to attend the University of North Georgia to obtain a degree in marketing and criminal justice.

Her post-baccalaureate plans include pursuing a master’s degree in business administration and joining the Peace Corps to inspire others to see the world from a different perspective. Ya Daba believes that spending a year doing work she loves would be her greatest accomplishment.

The graduation ceremony for Therrell High School is Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m.
