Arbrielle calls her four years at Therrell High School difficult, but rewarding. Being named salutatorian was not her initial goal, but years of diligence and hard work resulted in this honor.

She attributes much of her success to her parents and teachers. She is especially thankful for her college advisor, Ms. Modi, who help her complete her post- secondary education plans, and encouraged her to take advantage of the opportunities available to her.

Arbrielle is also grateful for her parents’ support and involvement in her academic pursuits. Her long-term career goal is to become a clinical psychologist – a job that will satisfy her desire to have a positive impact on the youth in her community through mentoring and counseling.

She plans on attending the University of Georgia and major in Child & Family Development.

The graduation ceremony for Therrell High School is Sunday, May 25 at 3 p.m.

All APS commencement exercises will be available for online viewing via live stream by visiting http://atlantapublicschools.us/graduation2014 and clicking on a specific school.
