APS accepting comments on revised discrimination policy

The Atlanta Board of Education accepted the following policy for first reading at its meeting on January 13, 2014. The board will accept public comments and will consider the revised policy for final approval at its next regular meeting. The next meeting of the board is scheduled for Monday, February 3, 2014.

POLICY:
GAEB Discrimination, Harassment and Retaliation
 
SUMMARY:
This policy has been updated to expand the definition of discrimination, harassment and retaliation to include all forms of discrimination, harassment and retaliation based on certain protected categories.
