Heritage Academy recently hosted their annual Real Men Read Program, where local community stakeholders volunteered their time to mentor and read to the young men of Heritage Academy. Participants included doctors, lawyers, businessmen, culinary chefs, servicemen, police officers, educators, and others, who share the value of reading and believe in the opportunities that reading provides to students. Real Men Read helps to foster a love for reading and helps students make a positive connection with male role models in their community.
