During the month of October, 9th grade students from the Eagle Academy at Alonzo A. Crim Open Campus High School took a step toward improving their daily dining experience.
Through the youth orientated ZHOPE (Zetas Helping Other People Excel) initiative, which focuses on the proper way to set a table as well as the purpose of each item in a place setting, Chef Larry Alford, Culinary Arts Pathway Director, led lessons on dining etiquette and students ate a light luncheon where they practiced their newly refined skills in dining.
