West Manor Elementary School recently held a technology and literacy workshop for parents. During the workshop parents received an overview of Infinite Campus and the district’s new student portal.
Parents of students in grades K–12 have access to class schedules, attendance records and grades when they visit Campus Portal for Parents (CPP), an easy-to-use, secure communications tool. Additionally, CPP enables parents to verify household information, including their email address, home address and telephone numbers.
This information is stored in the district’s Infinite Campus portal and used to contact and update parents and guardians about important news and information throughout the school year and in the event of an emergency. 
During the tech workshops West Manor parents met with the school’s Educational Technology Specialist and viewed a demonstration of the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
Guests also learned how to navigate the West Manor school website and discussed other helpful educational sites and resources.
The technology workshop was an effective method to engage and inform West Manor parents, students and the community.
