Haircuts & Backpacks Galore at Thomasville Heights Elementary

Thomasville Heights Elementary School made efforts to ensure that all of its students are prepared for the 2013-2014 school year.

With the help of Exalt Integrated Technology, every student at Thomasville Heights received a brand new backpack filled with supplies.

The staff began issuing bags and supplies during the school’s open house, where parents and students came to meet their new teachers.

In addition, local barbers and hair stylists donated their time and expertise as they provided students with free haircuts during open house.

“I believe that when you look good, you feel good, and look at our wonderful students…they look great,” exclaimed Ms. Jones, a third grade teacher at Thomasville Heights.

Teachers and students were prepared, pumped and ready to embark on a new school year! With the school’s new makeover sponsored by NEA and continuous academic improvements, Thomasville Heights is still supporting their motto “A New Year, A New Attitude, A New Thomasville.”
