Principal Profile: Yvette Williams of the Carver School of Health Sciences and Research


Please give a warm APS welcome to Ms. Yvette Williams.

Ms. Williams is the new principal at the Carver School of Health Sciences and Research. Principal Williams started her teaching career as a science teacher at Glen Hills High School in Augusta, GA. Prior to joining APS, Principal Williams  taught high school science in Fulton County. During her tenure at APS, Principal Williams has taught science and served as the science department chairperson at Washington High School.  She also served as a teaching and learning specialist and an assistant principal.

Principal Williams is a native of Lincolnton, Georgia. She received a bachelors degree from Savannah State University, a masters degree from Augusta State University and an Ed.S. degree from Troy State University.

She is excited about her role as principal of the Carver School of Health Sciences and Research and promoting academic excellence among all of her students!
