Stakeholders are welcome to provide comments at the beginning of the Committee of the Whole meeting on any item on the agenda.

Please don't start school earlier, it is hard enough to wake up in time to get there by 8:00 a.m. And don't add any more vacation to the school year. It is disruptive to the kids schedules and forces working parents to either take unwanted time off or find some one to watch their children at an odd time of year, instead of during the summer when college students and teachers are off and able to do so or there are numerous camps to attend. Parents who think this is a good idea can and will take their kids to Disney in October regardless of whether school is in session or not. For the rest of us, leave the school year alone.
