Before an audience of 500 well-wishers, students marched across the stage last night to collect their high school diplomas after successfully spending the summer to complete their remaining graduation requirements. Board Vice Chair Byron Amos and Superintendent Erroll Davis addressed the summer class of 2012 at the ceremony held at the D.M. Therrell Educational Complex. Joining the enthusiastic crowd of family members and friends were our teachers, high school counselors and principals. Also present were curriculum and instruction leaders, including Deputy Superintendent Karen Waldon, and regional K-12 executive directors Dr. Danielle Battle, Clay Hunter and Dave White.
