Shanda Beadles Will Lead Hutchinson Elementary School

Shanda Beadles, former science model teacher leader for SRT-2, was appointed today as principal at Hutchinson Elementary School.  Beadles replaces Rebecca Dashiell-Mitchell. 

Yesterday, the Atlanta Board of Education welcomed Keisha Gibbons, former assistant principal at Centennial Place Elementary School to her position as the new principal at Boyd Elementary. 

Both Boyd and Hutchinson elementary schools are APS year-round schools, along with Centennial Place Elementary, which open for the new school year Wednesday, July 13, 2011.  Superintendent Erroll Davis met with teachers and staff from all three year round schools earlier today.
