All APS after-school athletic events and practices scheduled for Wednesday afternoon are cancelled due to predicted threatening weather conditions. A line of intense storm cells that has spawned tornadoes and heavy thunderstorms to the west of Georgia is expected to arrive in the area later today. High winds, lightening and heavy rain are associated with this system. APS high school baseball games scheduled for Wednesday afternoon will be made up Thursday.
