Four APS schools are scheduled to participate in the Energy Professionals Day in the Classroom event Wednesday, March 23, 2011, in conjunction with the APS Energy and Environmental Services Department and Georgia Power/Southern Company and the Edison Electric Institute. The presentation topics are tailored for 8th and 9th grade science classes and range from home energy uses to the types of fuels used to generate electricity to energy conservation and careers in the energy field. The following is a list of the schools participating in the program, along with the specific times of the presentations.
