Grady High’s Urban Couture designers, in their own words

Everyone had a fantastic time at the “Doggies on the Catwalk” fashion show Jan. 21 at Grady High as part of the school’s Urban Couture design program, led by art teacher Vincent Martinez. The event, delayed a week due to the inclement weather, featured senior design students making outfits for celebrities.

This video, compiled by Grady News Network students, features interviews with the students as they discuss their designs and the celebrities as clients. The designers: Willamae Boling, Anisha Patel, Lindy Menefee, Jalesa Reid, David Bufkin, Olivia Roorbach, Becca Daniels, Rakhety Livingston, Maiya Daniels, Asha Haki-Tyler, Kayla Banes, Mary Sommerville and Timothy Bennett.
