Thanks to the Early Learning & Literacy Resource Center at Dunbar Elementary, the school already has built a reputation for helping kids achieve at high levels. Now, the Atlanta Falcons will help make sure kids focus on health and fitness as well. During the 12th annual NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle, the entire Falcons roster will visiting metro Atlanta schools to challenge students to rounds of jump rope, shuttle run, push-ups and sit-ups as part of the “NFL PLAY 60” campaign, which fights childhood obesity by encouraging kids to helping kids stay active for 60 minutes a day.
